Hrithik played the role so well that after watching the film, it becomes difficult to imagine anyone else in the role of Emperor Akbar.
To play a historical character, one needs to have precision and confidence and Hrithik Roshan's performance never lacked these.

However, Javed feels his most memorable number till date is Kahne Ko Jashne Bahar from Jodha Akbar .
Unfortunately that song was dropped from the movie, but Ashutosh Gowariker heard that number and asked Mr Rehman to make me sing Kehne ko Jashne Bahar , Javed recollects fondly.

Jodhaa Akbar: A splendid movie from the undying era
Of the supporting cast, Ila Arun (Akbars step mother) and newcomer Niketan Dheer (Sarfuddin) were very competent.
The movie was a treat to all history lovers.

After the success of "Jodhaa Akbar", in which Sonu played Aishwarya Rai's cousin, UTV has signed him for their next movie "Dhoondte Rahe Jaoge" as a lead opposite Soha Ali Khan.
Sonu is very keen to show his new 'avatar' to everybody but due to his shooting for Rajshree Productions's "Ek Vivah Aisi Bhi" he has to hide his arm wearing full-sleeved shirts and T-shirts nowadays.
