It was funny between Abhishek and Rani the first time.....Not that there are no genuinely funny and bright moments.....Nasir Hussain-meets-Baz Luhrmann in Shaad Ali's weird-and-wacky fun-and-frolic homage to the spirit of backslapping bonhomie.....The screenplay and dialogues (Habib Faizal) are terribly un-smart.....In the quest for comedy, Shaad Ali pays homage to old film songs and films as disparate as "Sholay" and ahem ahem "Bunty Aur Babli"..... ... Jhoom Barabar Jhoom doesn't pretend to be anything else.....Piyush Mishra is quite annoyed having to wait for his kababs to be served and shouts "......infuse in the film quite successfully....Jhoom Barabar Jhoom pays homage to a number of Hindi films (many of them classics).....brilliant choreography by Vaibhavi Merchant to get its unique fun.... ...
