Jackie Brown , based on Elmore Leonard's exceptional novel Rum Punch , was QT's first adaptation, albeit a loose one, of another's work.....We don't think Tarantino's made a truly bad film yet, just a couple that aren't as good as his best efforts.....not distracting, the film's imperfections as a result of this relationship provide some of the more interesting moments in the film.....She manages to slip in some great lines with that always cool delivery that are sure to be quoted again and again by film ge ... The role is not only physical, but also emotional.

Grier is terrific in the film.

Jackson), a small-time Los Angeles arms dealer.....He's strictly a genre man, with paper-thin characters and an amiable low-life spark to his busy, lurching plots..... ... Full Review
