Why do critics hate Mark Wahlberg. Seriously. This movie was in my opinion one of his best. Now The Happening was a bad movie. Max Payne was above average. Shooter just got kinda boring. So amazing and inspiring film.... Full review

There is only so much grunt field action a well balanced, engaging film can take.
Although it's wrangled into the formulaic American dream structure and given the slick treatment of an aspirational sport star story, Invincible is superior to many movies of its genre which started with a cinema release.
