Finally, it has prevented the viewer from coming away with a perfect movie experience.
The movie's only flaw keeps penetrating the mind of the theater goer.
Music plays a good part in this movie too.

Clooney and Zeta-Jones have great chemistry and their scenes together are sheer push-me pull-me magic.
Dashingly handsome Clooney is just splendid as the bored, successful lawyer trying to find the meaning of life between successful litigations, while Catherine Zeta-Jones is exquisite in every sense of the word as the man-eating Marylin.

Here, Clooney's sharky divorce lawyer is a toothy menace in love with his own smile, and when he spots delicious Catherine Zeta-Jones 's conniving, would-be wronged wife, it's like he finally found the sauce for his goose.
Other actors might balk at their character seeming so narcissistic and gleefully amoral.

The characters were self centered and selfish and it was all but impossible to like or identify with either of them.
By the end of the movie, when love supposedly won out, you just don't care enough about them to even be moved by turn of heart.

Without being cloying, Zeta-Jones and Clooney convey an underlying message in this silliness: Money may buy the best lawyers and matching shoes and purses, but it can't buy happiness.
The Coens' legion of fans need not worry about too many cooks: "Intolerable" is unmistakably a Coen brothers film, with their peculiar sense of humor in evidence.
