For Garland's fans the movie is nearly perfect, and rises well above ordinary expectations.
Parting Thoughts While it's indeed a shame that I Could Go On Singing isn't enhanced, the movie itself is terrific, with a rallying Judy Garland giving one of her best performances in a final star vehicle equal to her great talent.

Judy belts out a few memorable songs.....every great star should have at least one great telephone scene, where we hear only their side of the conversation.....In one of the best scenes in the movie Jenny has a phone conversation with Matt where he chooses his father over her.....And it proves just how talented she was as a dramatic actress.....The final big dramatic scene takes place in a hospital room..... ...
