I watch them all. It's not better than the amazing ones (_Strictly Ballroom_, _Shall we dance?_ (Japanese version), but it's completely respectable and pleasingly different in parts. I am an English teacher and I find some of the ignorance about language... Full review

This movie is not that great to me. I would say it is fair. The dancing was great at some parts but it didn't alway keep me watching. I thought some of the actors were not as good, the story was... Full review

I must give How She Move a near-perfect rating because the content is truly great. As a previous reviewer commented, I have no idea how this film has found itself in IMDBs bottom 100 list! That's absolutely ridiculous! Other films--particular those... Full review

Yes-- it may seem like another cliche dance movie by MTV and the powers that be (it IS the best dance movie yet)-- but the underlying message is inspirational, and based in such truth-- Education is the key to life!!! While... Full review

I was a bit scared to watch this movie due to its rates. But living in Italy titles like this never ever come across and I love step so much that I decided to give it try. And how surprised I... Full review

I'm giving an over all grade a D+. The plus is for actress Tre'. She should of been the lead, she danced better and a better body for it. The shots sucked. What was up with them? The shop, the apartment,... Full review

This movie was absolutely ghastly! I cannot fathom how this movie made it to production. Nothing against the cast of the movie, of course, this is all the fault of the writing team. You take the old average plot - let's... Full review

Well, we've lowered the bar a step lower. Not only does the story not make sense; it's unoriginal, the acting is horrible and just look at the title!! This is the perfect example of why kids should stay in school --... Full review

This film is for them, and from what I can tell, it's an entertaining enough escapade, showing the competitive nature of the genre and the many possible ways it can be choreographed. Cast delivers simply drawn characters and the intensity of the milieu works in favour of the film's bold ambiance. ... Full Review

How She Move generated one of the worst ratings I have ever encountered on the Internet Movie Database, scoring 1.7 out of 10. The widescreen-only DVD, out last week, boasts good, blunt-spoken extras, including insights into how the dancers and the actors learned to cooperate, teach one another and emerge as a cohesive ensemble. ... Rather, the filmmakers have created an intentionally drab-looking movie. Paramount Vantage's 2007 release "How She Move" may be about step-dancing and it may feature a mostly black cast, but it could just as easily be about football, baseball, basketball, soccer, golf, boxing, wrestling, running, cheerleading, waltzing, spelling, debating, martial arts, competitive drumming, or tiddly winks. ... Some of the best moments in How She Move feature an all-girl crew called the Femmes Fatales, led by tough girl Michelle (Tre Armstrong).....Their choreography manages to be outrageously sexy without the kind of for-the-boys booty-shaking you see in hip-hop videos..... ... Full Review
