one of the most basic elements of a film's enjoyment -....I couldn't, Hooligans is at best a mediocre to slightly above average fish-out-of-water tale.....Wood and Hunnam's performances stand out as the best of the film.....Directed by Lexi Alexander, the battle sequences are particularly compelling, even....Hunnam is very strong in the part and he and Wood have a nice bond that is one of the strongest elements of the film..... ... This film really deserved that type of response.
BUT - these guys - these Hooligans aren't pieces of shit.
I think that's the real key to this movie's success.
