It contains multiple scenes of intense, sometimes brutal scenes of violence, as well as copious amounts of profanity and alcohol use.....Green Street Hooligans, directed by Lexi Alexander, is an interesting look into the world of English football (or soccer to us yanks) hooligans.....tumble world of football hooliganism.This movie is an engaging look at a world not often explored by Hollywood.... ... one of the most basic elements of a film's enjoyment -....I couldn't, Hooligans is at best a mediocre to slightly above average fish-out-of-water tale.....Wood and Hunnam's performances stand out as the best of the film.....Directed by Lexi Alexander, the battle sequences are particularly compelling, even....Hunnam is very strong in the part and he and Wood have a nice bond that is one of the strongest elements of the film..... ... Gritty, passionate, and energized, "Hooligans" is a downright exciting picture.....The problem for these characters is not in their spirits....Overall the film is paced very well, and the hand-held camera during the brawling scenes give a real street-fight feel.....well focused tale of the actions of English football firms along with underlining the importance of friends, family.... ...
