complete romance, this film shud have been cut by 20mins as the ending seemed to drag and you just want them to meet so the film can finish. It starts off with jimmy and nisha as a couple, they love each other. Jimmy is offered a manager job in a call centre in india and he takes it over his girlfreinds fathers job. In india he meets monishka who falls for him. She tries her hardest to seduce him but he is in love with nisha. So she gets him drunk, he dances with her and pictures are taken of the 2. Monishka then steals all his investment money, his assets and sends the pictures to nisha. His life is ruined and to make it worse he is arrested on fraud as they think he did the stealing. He is proven innocent by a friend and monishka is arrested, nisha has recieved the pictures and breaks up with jimmy. Her dad then plans her marriage wid another person, on hearing his innoncence she goes on a search for him, he for her, they are seconds away from each other but the miss each other each time. After several chances of meeting they give up and its the day of nisha's wedding. She cancels it and jimmy goes to stop it, after failing to get their on time he sits next to a river and here she finds him and they smile. Rajpal yadav has some funny scenes, but overall a poor show.

Hastey Hastey' becomes somewhat watchable thanks to Jimmy Shergill and Rajpal Yadav .....And with a shoddy story in the first place, no director can work miracles....Director Toony tries this in his light-hearted but mawkishly sentimental Hastey Hastey , but fails miserably.....there is some lilting music as well.....There are sporadic funny moments, thanks to Rajpal Yadav in a triple role..... ...
