Sihi Gaali' lacks logic and one doubts....The title of the movie may be sweet....'Sihi Gaali' loses out on poor storyline....Lekhan's brainless narrative fails to bring even decent performance from talented artists like Sri Murali, Thualsi Shivamani and Sharan.....Bad luck Murali, you have again chosen a wrong project..... ... Gilli must be watched in a theatre to beenjoyed. Prakash Raj, however,is the best thing to have happened to Gilli . Gilli portraysVijay as a comic hero who battles his villains logically while his physical powers are exaggerated dramatically. ... Full Review

Having said that, Gilli offers nothing less than sheer entertainment and an edgy thriller for the Tamil film industry, which is deprived of such films.....This movie will be a hit, not just for its entertainment and production values....Vijay's naive bravery earns him the animosity of Prakash Raj [ Images ], a local dada who chases him and Trisha [ Images ] from Madurai [ Images....Then on until the intermission, action drives the story forward, the best being the car chase, one of the best such sequences i ... entertaining with no comedy tracks to distract the viewers.....Corny but unpretentious, the film merits a look mainly for its star attractions Vijay and Trisha who are as charismatic as ever.....Prakash Raj as his powerful opponent is good but overacts at times.....But Vidyasagar's music and the picturisation of songs could have been better..... ...
