In one of the film's brighter moments, 2pac demonstrates his rapping skills, via telephone, to Haitian Grammy Award-winning musician and producer Wyclef Jean, who also executive produced and provided the score for the film.
Add to that the Herculean effort and sheer bravery it took to actually make it out of Cité Soleil with any worthwhile footage, and Asger Leth's documentary stands as one of the more remarkable feats of moviemaking in recent memory.
