All these years Anil Kapoor didn't bother to attend the Cannes Film Festival and when he did visit the most famous film festival this year, there was a purpose behind it.

I think this is the best film that India can offer to international audiences.
I personally feel that Gandhi My Father is the best showcase for Indian cinema in terms of technical and the thematic content.

So you see the problem with this film is not that it's a bad film, but it's certainly a very confused film.
The film version of an immensely popular play directed by Feroz Abbas Khan himself, Gandhi My Father is a disappointment, no questions asked.
