Despite scoring some easy laughs in essaying the artistic differences of the participants, this whole strain of the film is rendered preposterous by the tenor of the play itself, which depicts Hitler as something very close to a Sensitive Modern Guy, albeit an egomaniacal one, dealing with "control issues. ... But mostly it doesn't quite gel with that magic that made the first film so perfect.....I'm desperate for these kinds of movies, which is probably why I'm going easy on Ocean's Twelve .....it seems like every film should be this much easy fun..... ... Full Review

Miramax has provided some decent extras for Full Frontal , with some being fairly interesting.

In fact, his last few films have been good, if not great.....Billed as the unofficial sequel to "Sex, lies and videotape," his latest film FULL FRONTAL is a pretentious convoluted film that has no real meaning..... ... Full Review

The picture quality for much of "Full Frontal" is purposefully shoddy.....once more with the most dramatically sound and intimate performance in the bunch.....oftentimes has little to do with the scene at hand, "Full Frontal" is more of a peculiar exercise than a conventional motion picture.....For the most part, the cast does solid work, made all the more impressive....The only catch is, the film goes to great pains to show that life is but a big movie in and of itself..... ... Written by Soderbergh and his frequent collaborator Coleman Hough, Full Frontal is a smug movie about smug characters in a smug environment.....'s not just a skilled mainstream director, but also thoughtful and self-conscious, an artist who recognizes the ugly effects of his chosen business....the melodramatic plot.... ...
