While not as "serious" as some treasure hunt films, or as violent as others, Fool's Gold is an entertaining diversion with laughs and some great lines.....Donald Sutherland gives a wonderful performance as the wealthy but somewhat clueless yachtsman for whom Tess is working as part of the crew.....Kate Hudson is delightfully ticked off and wary, Matthew McConaughey is the man with a childlike sense of wonder.... ... Yes, above all, "Fool's Gold" is attractive to look at.....A subplot about Honeycutt and his daughter is too superficial and superfluous for us to care about.....Fool's Gold" is an appropriate title for the movie....even the cast is lovely.....the cast is appealing..... ... Full Review
