The film's main problem is....The performances ensure that Fireflies in the Garden remains watchable....it lacks dramatic impact and fails to deliver the required emotional punch.....there's strong support from a delightful Watson....he also has strong chemistry with both Watson and Moss, which works well..... ... Fireflies In The Garden is perfectly watchable....The stellar cast also includes Carrie-Ann Moss, drifting through as Michael's alcoholic wife Kelly....Ryan Reynolds fares rather better as the adult Michael, investing him with a dry, sarcastic wit that serves as his defence against a cruel world.....He also shows some good chemistry with his aunt Jane, played in spirited fashion by Emily Watson..... ...
