Disjointed, foul, worthless, those who expect anything like the book will be shocked. Very disappointing. I was assigned this movie to watch for a PE class. Nothing in this move was of value. It taught me nothing but it did offend... Full review

this movie displayed some of the negative things that occur in the fast food business. However, I was expecting way more. I thought they would go into the factories and display how the animals were slaughtered and used for our consumption.... Full review

Honestly, I don't even think I really wanted to watch this movie. Last night I was at the video store and was originally going to get Clerks II, but they didn't have it, so instead I got this. I'm so glad... Full review

I just got done watching this piece of crap on cable. WOW! Are all of us talking about the same movie? I can't believe that some can watch this w/o getting annoyed at the acting, story, script and sterotyping! How can... Full review

This book should be a required reading in every class room in The USA. They should have done a documentary but instead choose a movie format that is nothing like the book. The book is a good read and it is... Full review

For any American, this is a very important movie to see. It was done quite differently from "Super Size Me", a very similarly themed movie. This movie resembles closely a talk I once heard from an anthropology graduate student who had... Full review

I remember a few years ago a cattleman named Howard Lyman appeared on Oprah's show and delivered a searing indictment of cattle ranching and the meat industry in general. Oprah was so disturbed by what she heard she exclaimed "I'll never... Full review

This film provides a never before seen view of what goes on behind the fast food industry, particularly the burger end. It includes the corporation, meat packers, workers, small town people etc. Every conceivable aspect is covered. Of course the most... Full review

I saw it and consider it to be groundbreaking and a "must see" even if you already consider yourself to be among the transformed. Please support the film and the raw courage of the screenwriter and filmmaker who brought this to... Full review

Linklater's filmmaking has become unexpectedly....The first film, while charming, fell for its own swooning romanticism, ignoring the fact....Linklater won't give us the same amiably non-dramatic comedy with the bad vibes only faintly hinted at.....But then A Scanner Darkly actually had a strong, paranoid dystopian framework requiring conventional pacing and revelations Linklater previously seemed incapable of or uninterested in.....his aversion for strong narrative beats seemed almost as strong as his aver ... ES: For a really good film to be made, the sort of director that Rick [Linklater] is needs to be given control. It is, as you have pointed out, a very dark, very disturbing film. One of the New York Times critics I know really loved it. ... Full Review

Fast Food Nation is never as powerful as a single page in Schlosser's book-you can almost taste the missed opportunities-but instead of a hearty feast, all we're fed are empty calories. Fast Food Nation has a major clutter problem, and it prevents us from ever really knowing the people ... Full Review
