The dance numbers are the real highlights (director Tancharoen comes from a strong choreography background) of the 2009 Fame....Tancharoen has made a clearly inferior film.....Fame definitely fits the classic category.....mostly it just makes you miss the original, which makes this film very much unnecessary.....Graced with some great songs (the original film was nominated for six Academy Awards and won two in the music category) and some awfully good young talent, directing Fame (2009) must have been excit ... the displays of exuberance, passion, and bodily possibility are the same.....unfortunately Fame can't live up to that ideal.....the adults, including Bebe Neuwirth and Charles S.
