Hollywood, please stop with the horror movies in space (and horror movies in general). Horror is a dead genera but you guys keep pumping it out. Given that this movie was released in 1997 I thought it had good production value... Full review

If you're looking for something that could be shown for Halloween, this is the movie you want. It's got a creepy far out into nowhere story line with a clandestine crew. You know that only a few are coming back alive,... Full review

This movie is absolutely terrifying. It has enough gore to satisfy most gore hounds and will satisfy psychological thriller fans as well. This movie was very well written, not having much character development, but for sure having an interesting plot. This... Full review

I called this review what I did for a very good reason. This film was apparently in limbo for five years before it was sold to Paramount and it was in limbo for good reason-the title was stolen from a book... Full review

I enjoy it in a really guilty sort of way. Even though it's populated by stock stereotypes instead of real people (seriously, the token black guy) and the story is hopelessly generic, it genuinely creeps me out and the cast is... Full review

Quite tragically, the film could have been even better, but a troubled production combined with a quick editing schedule and a panicking studio resulted in a somewhat incoherent, but very scary mess.
Sadly, some of the "Event Horizon's" more elaborate visual effects don't quite work today, more than 10 years later.
