A moderately slick thriller!
A moderately slick thriller!
Suparn Verma is at it again after Qayamat, Janasheen, Zameen and Karam. This time he's done the screenplay as well as the direction and the results aren't too bad.
Arjun, a conman, messes with the wrong guy, Sikandar, on one of his jobs and in return has to face the death of his best friend as well as having to pay back the duped money, with interest (Rs. 400,000 in total). The problem: He's spent all the money. So he gangs up with 2 other friends, Jack and Rohit, along with Kaif (who is Sikandar's...more

2005 seems to end well with an unconventional yet terrific thriller 'Ek Khiladi Ek Haseena' that engulfs you throughout the proceedings. The movie belongs to the 'noir' genre where the protagonist Arjun [Fardeen Khan] narrates his own story to an audience. The movie goes into the past where conmen Arjun and his friend Rohit [Rohit Roy] are discussing about their next move. In one such instance, they end up conning a man who turns out to be an employee of Sikander [Gulshan Grover]. A sober yet shrewd businessman, he demands his money back after bumping off Rohit. For this he gives...more

Starring the stylish Fardeen Khan with the beautiful Koena Mitra and a host of ensemble actors, Gulshan Grover, Kay Kay, Rohit Roy, Mukul Dev, Amin Haji and the amazing Feroz Khan, Ek Khiladi Ek Haseena could well be described as Bollywood's smartest and cleverest film ever! In a world of lies, Arjun (Fardeen Khan) is a man with a plan. The only thing he has not counted on is Natasha (Koena Mitra) ? a woman lured into his world but who, unknown to Arjun, has a plan of her own. What really is the problem with Bollywood? Easy money, too...more
