One of the scariest movies I've ever seen (not counting the Exorcist) was The Changeling (1980) with George C. Scott (not Jolie). Compared to that movie, this was more like a gross-out comedy. If you think you would like watching scary... Full review

While the DVD is relatively underwhelming (I would have loved a commentary track) Drag Me to Hell is still so enjoyable I think picking it up for a rental is a total no-brainer.....As a visceral foray back to his horror roots Raimi has constructed a picture difficult to dislike.....Drag Me to Hell is a glorious return to the horror genre for director Sam Raimi ( Spider-Man )..... ... it really was the best horror flick to come out in quite some time.....Arriving on both DVD and Blu-ray next Tuesday from Universal Home Entertainment is Sam Raimi's triumphant return to horror with Drag Me to Hell .....Christopher Young's score also gets top-notch representation on the track....is satisfactorily melded with dialogue and sound effects, none of which are ever fighting each other to see who can be the loudest..... ...
