Thalappavu' - Prithviraj's second release of season is widely recognized as a very good movie.
With scintillating visuals and good narratives, the movie has also brought in good reviews.

Every scene is predictable....with the backdrop of picturesque Coorg is a treat for cinema lovers!....The story is however not so interesting.....The scene where the hero escapes from a police car after an assassination attempt by jumping onto the top of buildings is amazing.....Jayam Ravi plays the role with great involvement and real enthusiasm..... ... On the face of it, the story sounds quite good.
Though this strategy appears likeable in the beginning of the film, the same technique gets repeated quite too often

Dhaam Dhoom is worth a watch....The Tamil film certainly showcases the cinematographer-turned-director's larger than life ambitions, and his talent for storytelling.....With logic, good performances and sound music, Dhaam Dhoom is definitely worth a watch.....here's a guy who can come up with good performances, with the right script..... ... Unlike his earlier movies, Dhaam Dhoom's reach is very large, its appeal is international, and it has the potential to transform this young romantic-hero with massive broad shoulders into the next action hero of Kollywood.
Seeing how things are shaping up, it looks like Jayam Ravi need not be overly concerned with video piracy, as people seemed to have understood that this bonanza is better when watched on big screens.

It looks like a picture-perfect scene from a Hollywood film; such is the cinematography of Dhaam Dhoom which has excellently jelled with Jayam Ravi's persona and of course, the snowy backdrop of Russian locales unseen so far in any Tamil film.
This one single picture gives you a glimpse of what Dhaam Dhoom is capable of delivering.

He requested anyone coming across acts of video piracy - like sales of pirated CDs or DVDs of Dhaam Dhoom or illegal broadcast of the film on local cable channels and other such acts - to report to a special anti-piracy cell that will operate 24/7.
