When I was watching Desperado, I couldn't tell if the movie was TRYING to be serious or if it was trying to be TOO funny? From it's cheesy dailogue and it's 'action-packed scenes' (in which Mr. Desperado only got hurt once... Full review

In "Desperado", the romantic element is what works best; Antonio Banderas and Salma Hayek are one of the most electric screen combos in recent memory and still, I think it's Hayek's best role. Rodriguez is a filmmaker who knows how to catch the audiences eye with his incredibly creative visual style which includes constant movements, zooms and other tricks to make a film visually fascinating; sometimes these tricks are a little overused (I'll get to that in a moment with "Desperado"). ...
