The movie is intense....As I had read the book before, I was more excited to see the movie taking the screenplay on to a higher ground.....The special effects which are an important part of the screenplay, inorder to give a feel of that time, are tacky....Overall Deham should make way for more movies dealing with such alternative themes and directors wanting to experiment with such bold scripts..... ... Govind Nihalani's Deham [body] is a perfect example.
As Deham lapses into what seems like ludicrous situations, you cannot help but feel sorry for a plot that has been mutilated carelessly.
Kitu Gidwani is rather stilted.
