Although Armageddon was a good movie, Deep Impact is much better. The only reason I think so is because they get down to a more personal level when they were making this movie. I cried much more in this movie, and... Full review

They cleverly overcome the quandary of balancing total destruction with saving humanity while still utilising great effects. ... Full Review

Deep Impact juggles so relentlessly that it seems positively schizo, giving us a little "character development" here and a little mini-disaster there, leading up to the big event -- death from above, the tidal waves and mass destruction, the skyscrapers scattering like petals. ... Full Review
