Overall, I will say that I liked Daybreakers.....This brings me to the next problem with Daybreakers -....The one thing I really liked about Daybreakers is its somewhat unique view of the world of the vampire.....Seeing the vampires deteriorate into these grotesque winged creatures added some much needed suspense and a bit of bloodshed to the movie.....Sam Neill is perfect as the cold-blooded (excuse the pun) executive..... ... Bloody-Disgusting
While it's far from perfect, Daybreakers is an incredibly fun movie.....While the plot has been done numerous times before on a smaller scale (like in Blade ), what makes Daybreakers special is their new spin on the mythology.....moves the plot is pretty great....Loaded with talents actors (Sam Neill, Ethan Hawke and of course Willem DaFoe), beautiful camerawork (a stunning slow-mo shot in the finale proves this) and buckets of blood, I can't recommend this enough..... ...
