Ok, digression over, sorry- it's not a bad film, but Day Zero is better and more clear in its intentions).
Day Zero doesn't engage the politics, instead going for visceral reactions from individuals dealing with their mortality, far more intelligent than burying emotional intensity under topical news and political rhetoric.
