Not bad. Isolated humor. He really takes to playing the returning downtrodden nairdowell. The lines were good enough to keep me awake and enough crazy back hills folk to have action. Worth watching.... Full review

The song is actually sang excellently by Lisa Blount who plays Chrystal. The quiet moments in "Chrystal" work better than the loud more familiar formulaic ones. In one the film's best sequences, Pa Da asks Chrystal to sing. ... Full Review
