CRITICS ARE WRONG
Jan 20, 2009

This movie is very good and it's entertaining. The critics are absolutely wrong about this film. Every single thing about this film is almost perfect material. The characters aren't hateful, you critics are just a bunch of idiots. I am ashamed... Full review

As far as Christmas movies go, they've been much better, but they've been much worse too. Christmas with the Kranks lies somewhere in the dead center. It gets off to a REALLY slow start, but by the time the movie draws... Full review

A way for some holiday cheer!! the movie was really festive and joyful for me. I liked the whole story because its all about the Christmas holiday... the kranks avoid the neighbors for their plan on the cruise but when one... Full review
CRAP-TACULAR HOLIDAY FILM

Yes, he's a talented comedian, but the script in this film is horrible. His talents are wasted here. What few funny moments there were in the film were shown in the preview. (Falling off the roof, botox enhancements, etc.) Jamie Lee... Full review

Everything that is wrong with Christmas

I don't understand people who spend thousands of dollars on Christmas decorating and parties (gifts, I can understand but the movie never really mentions gifts). I am not a scrooge but I don't think Christmas is about how gaudy a display... Full review

This movie was pretty good, but could've been better. I wish all neighbors could act like that, especially around Christmas, come together at the last minute to save another neighbor. Pretty touching at the end there though. I would recommend the... Full review

This movie alternated between being poorly acted, poorly scripted and poorly directed. That said, that was the only nice thing I can say about this movie, unfortunately. That's too bad because the heart of the movie is fighting consumerism ... Full Review

Ain't It Cool Movie Reviews
Music as well was some of the best and gave a real feel of a movie despite being a one hour show. Also the CGI is some of the best I have ever seen on TV, though the troll looks a little too much like a baby Clover with a mouth in its stomach. ... Full Review

Nothing more than a 45-minute miasma of atrocious writing and painfully cheap animation, half-coated with a sickly Christmastime sheen that never once feels sincere or appropriate or charming, He-Man & She-Ra: A Christmas Special is a special kind of wretched, and it's only the fans of amazingly bad pop-culture detritus who'll need to add this thing to their collection. ... It melds crude, ineffective physical comedy with maudlin sentiment to turn into a real stinker. While the film evidenced a mix of flaws, all remained quite minor. Most of the film stuck with ambience, which opened up the spectrum well. ... Full Review

Lubitsch rarely balanced comedy and pathos so beautifully as in this movie about a busy Hungarian department store during the month before Christmas. Hardly anyone mentions the holiday until the final scenes, but the hope and despair that the season... ... Full Article
