Chicken Little" does not disappoint in the video department. I really enjoyed listening to this and going from the beginning process of "Chicken Little" to completion! Final Thoughts: "Chicken Little" is a great Disney picture. ... Full Review

Chicken Little (voiced by Zach Braff) is probably the best of the bunch, followed by Buck Cluck (Garry Marshall). The trouble is, every film comes down to character, and frankly, these characters aren't terribly endearing and they're not drawn in such a way that we feel warm or caring about them. ... Full Review

Happily, the animators come up with a workable solution; namely, feather-bedding their own plot with those from other films. Like those films, it scrambles to plug the holes marked 'well-developed story' and 'emotional punch' with visual gaggery, verbal schtick and more movie references than the latest edition of Halliwell's. ... Chicken Little wins the respect of his father and the town by helping win the state baseball championship. Fun movie with one of the most lovable and winning characters ever created by Disney Studios. You will if you go buy this great DVD! ... Full Review

It's a pretty good idea, but one of only a handful that made it into the finished film. This movie has just one gear (fourth) and one volume setting (ear-splitting), and it's so frantically busy that it's impossible to appreciate the splendid production design and the goofy little character work being done by the mute sidekick Fish Out of Water in the sides of the frame. ... The Disc: As with most computer animated films which can be transferred directly to DVD, the picture quality and sound for Chicken Little are fantastic. Trying to play off Chicken Littles nerdy short stature, director Mark Dindal made the brilliant decision to give him an equally nerdy voice, found in the vocal talents of Zach Braff. ... Full Review

While Chicken Little does have some really funny moments (mostly through the side characters of Runt, Fish and Abby Mallard), parts of the movie flat out drag. While kids won't mind (my seven year old is watching it religiously), the movie may fail to impress parents. ... Full Review

While Chicken Little may come up short on story (and film for that matter at just 74 minutes), the movie is packed with acting talent, starting with Braff as the titular hero. In order to stretch this rather simple plot into a feature-length film, the creators slid a story about a single father (Garry Marshall) and his difficulties in relating with his son underneath the main action of Chicken Little's quest to stop the aliens and redeem his good name. ... Anyway, poor Chicken Little doesn't know what to do; he doesn't dare tell his father, because he's sure he won't understand or believe him. The Wife-O-Meter didn't think the youngest of children would care much for the music in "Chicken Little," yet she didn't think children over nine would like the plot line much, either. ... Full Review
