I really was considering giving this movie an A-, but then i realized how undeveloped the characters were and the acting was not all that great. So it has to settle for a B+:X... Full review

You really have to be open-minded watching this, because it deals with subject matter that's so easy for us to condemn without the will to examine. We have a man, Arnold, who is accused of child molestation after porn magazines... Full review

To sum up, Capturing the Friedmans is a moving, frequently disturbing film that exerts an almost hypnotic fascination and will leave you with plenty to think about. The clever thing about the film is that, just as you think you know whose viewpoints you 'trust', Jarecki cleverly -and very subtly- pulls the rug out from under you - this is especially true of the lawyer and of one of the key witnesses. ...
