The witty script is from Oscar-winner Diablo Cody (Juno) and the dialogue is both funny and clever.....it rarely sets the pulse racing (unless you are a teenage boy, in which case Fox and Seyfried locking lips may work for you) and is pretty much devoid of true horror moments.....star Seyfried is perfectly cast -.... ... Now, I could get pathetically deep and explain the movie's satirical portrayal of the age gap and social consciousness or I could just say that this is a wonderfully funny, "freshman" movie with action and laughs a plenty. They have really great dialogue and the relationships between them make them as fun as say Spike and Drusilla; well maybe not as fun but entertaining at least. It's the only way to get a fix of new Buffy and the only thing that would make this series better would be to have Amber Benson write a story for the 'official cannon' that resurrects her character Tara. ...
