Story of a family whose husband/father cared more for the business then his wife/family and now he is losing the business. I enjoyed it a lot. It was good seeing Jane Curtin again... Full review

A Groundbreaking Film

Brooklyn Lobster is truly a groundbreaking film, an almost perfect tribute to the era. The story is phenomenal, the acting is terrific, and features beautiful visuals. Lobsters are the main attraction in this movie, although they don't have a brooklyn accent.... Full review

Saw the movie at an NYU screening with the director. It is in very limited release, but if you get the chance to see it, I highly recommend it. There is no better way of describing it than a great little... Full review

the charming little movie is also pretty warm, heartfelt....It'd be easy to dismiss Kevin Jordan's Brooklyn Lobster as conventional, obvious and entirely predictable --....their affection for the movie comes through pretty effortlessly.....The transfer shows a little fleckage in the darker scenes, but overall the movie looks just fine.....packed with strong performances..... ...
