At its best, it's riveting.....Brief Interviews With Hideous Men' is uneven but interesting....Brief Interviews With Hideous Men is an insightful, sharply written and unsettlingly amusing exploration of the darker elements of masculinity.....Some of Krasinski's directorial flourishes are inspired, such as Christopher Meloni 's imaginative re-telling (and offbeat re-enacting) about a woman he met as she stood crying at the airport..... ... and I ended up really liking that flick.....it boasts a very colorful cast, a scant running time....Plus, Brief Interviews with Hideous Men marks the directorial debut of the very likable John Krasinski....Our lead character is a lovely graduate student played by the lovely Julianne Nicholson....one feels like a heel for knocking a nice guy's passion project.... ... This was my favorite part of the movie.....And finally I think one of the weakest part of the film was dialogue.....I especially like a scene with Daniel aka Subject #46 (Dominic Cooper) who tries to argue the grade Sara gave him on his paper..... ... Full Review
