Fascinating combination of dark comedy and insightful social commentary may not be easily digested by audiences expecting one over the other....it does provide Williams with his best role in years as a divorced, frustrated writer who can't get published.....Williams (everyone sees his crap movies, nobody sees his great stuff) is absolutely fearless as a man withering under the bright lights and attention of perceived sainthood....Writer-director Goldthwait's previous films, Shakes the Clown (1991) and Sleep ...
