A fast-paced con caper with a humungous sting in its tail, Bluffmaster opens smartly, and quickly introduces the characters with deft thumbnail strokes.
So, here we are, only about 15 minutes into the film about a super-confident Bluffmaster whos nursing heartbreak, and whos already conned a tough cookie who will get back at him.

There's a lot of Bluffmaster that leaves you cold, but it's harmless, and the lines around it make up for it.
The cons and heists in the film are refreshingly original, and the film ends up a nicely made Matchstick Men , just feel-good style.

But it's his vision and execution that turns it into a great movie.

Despite its star cast, the film didn't do well at the box-office.
Moreover, writer Sridhar Raghavan's screenplay and Himman Dhamija's camera movements make the movie smart and entertaining.
Of course, I wanted the film to be liked by people.

The film's comic roots don't stray into slapstick, but crackle along by occasionally marvellous dialogue, and a brightly self-referential tone to the proceedings.
Add to this a watered down yet valiantly Guy Ritchie-esque supporting cast that fits neatly into the chaos and the machinations, and we're left with a pretty fun comedy.

Bluffmaster begins excellently.
Frankly, Abhisheks character in the movie should have been better chiseled out.
Only two bluffs in the movie are intelligently conceived.
Ritesh Deshmukh adds some real good moments of fun here and there.
