On the whole, The Blue Umbrella is a well-made film....also extracting wonderful performances from the cast.....In The Blue Umbrella , the director succeeds in conveying a message (greed can ruin the best of relationships) forcefully towards the end, when the entire village boycotts Pankaj Kapur for robbing the umbrella.....Shreya Sharma is a terrific discovery..... ... This is a great movie to debut in, and the young actress could likely get snapped up by other filmmakers soon. But I like the new film the best, because while Makdee intrigues you and Maqbool has moments to make your jaw drop with awe, Blue Umbrella just makes you smile. ... Full Review
