A very sick and twisted movie but never hit the stop button on the DVD player. It kept you thinking right until the end. It was a movie I got for 50 cents or 2 for a dollar and glad I... Full review

I usually like Kidman in most of her films, but like "Eyes Wide Shut", I felt like the story asks the audience to accept a lot of suspended reality. Cameron Bright's acting always seems monotone to me. He seems to have... Full review

I didn't have very high expectations when I sat down to watch this movie and it didn't really impress. There was some great acting by Nicole Kidman and Cameron Bright (who was surprisingly good), but it was the plotline that was... Full review

This is the worst movie I have seen in many years. There is no depth of the characters, no chemistry whats so ever. Unbelievably boring... The same background music just repeated again and again and again... There are waaaaaay too many... Full review

If I didnt know better, I would think this was a Kubrick film. Great use of sound and set design to create mood. Acting is great and directing even better. For those who dont like to have to think deeply, this... Full review

wish I could turn back time. Why? So I could get back the two hours of my life that I wasted. And on top of that, Kidman's hair looks terrible~!!! Maybe they did that so we wouldn't recognize her in this... Full review

No points! The wrong ideas about Reincarnation are given here. No depth what so ever in this long boring movie. A waste of the cast and opportunity to tell something meaningful. It is worse than worthless to have a film that... Full review

Birth is very stylish in that old money and formal Upper East Side kind of manner. The opening sequence of a lone jogger running in Central Park along with Alexandre Desplat's score and Harris Savides cinematography was very beautiful to watch because it immediately set the tone for Birth . ... I mean, this is, it's just such an annoyingly silly film. Mind you, Danny Huston, Lauren Bacall, Anne Heche and Peter Stormare are also splendid. It's a case of so much talent from the director, from the cameramen, the music, the actors. ... Full Review

It's a wonderful movie, carefully made, and consistently rewarding. It's easy to praise Nicole Kidman for her strong acting, but her performance in 'Birth' is a chilling reminder of just how complex an actress she can be. It's a sublime performance. ... Full Review

Birth , despite its best intentions, is a stillborn thriller that fails to live up to its promising conceit. It's a shame, as Glazer also managed to assemble a pretty stellar cast, including Bacall, Kidman, Huston (much better here than in Silver City ), Peter Stormare, Arliss Howard and Anne Heche, all of whom gamely attempt to enliven the sometimes torpid events onscreen. ...
