It really is!Excellent direction and a wonderful exhibition of realistic action by the legendary ANR. He is really unparalled when it comes to socialistic movies and this one is great. The assets to the film a) great songs, great stanzas... Full review

Some of the excellent scenes in the movie are When Sivaji is so impressed with Tukaram�s bhakti....That is the hall mark of a great actor.....Madhusudhan Rao directs the movie in a very realistic manner, taking care not to dilute the greatness of the lead character....ANR gives one of the greatest performances of his career in the title role.....Watch this movie, to understand why he is considered as one of the greatest actors of all time..... ...
