He's clearly not comfortable standing in Akshay Kumar's shadow.
As in all of Priyadarshan's films, there's a huge cast of supporting players, like Shakti Kapoor, Sharad Sexena, Jackie Shroff (wearing what could be the most lost look ever in a Hindi film) and Rajpal Yadav (bravely looking confident in a cabbie's role).

Except for a few stray comic situations in a typical Priyadarshan fashion, 'Bhagam Bhag' disappoints.....For the convoluted plot, a stream of uninspired star cast, ear-splitting-music and a torturous almost-three-hour length makes 'Bhagam Bhag' a heap of suffering..... ... Full Review

On the whole, Bhagam Bhag will be loved for its comedy in the first hour, but the whodunit in the second hour tapers the impact.

BHAGAM BHAG is the last biggie to arrive in 2006, which has been a terrific year for box office and none other than Priyadarshan should be highly excited about its prospects.
A film that seemed to be running on the shoulders of hit jodi of Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal with Govinda benefiting from the coming together of a successful team has seen a remarkable turnaround with the latest set of promos on air.
