I found this movie entertaining and imaginative. I didn't have high expectations, but was delightfully surprised and laughed out loud several times. It's even made me change my opinion of Adam Sandler, who I thought was at best suited to 'bathroom'... Full review

I do not like Adam Sandler in this movie. Ever since Spanglish I have not been able to enjoy one of his films. The plot wasn't bad though, but I would not reccomend it.

Everyone was told stories when they were younger. Now imagine if those stories were actually coming true? Great plot. Bedtimes Stories had me laughing and in awe of some of the special effects. Adam Sandler always has a way to throw in a variety of humor into any film, but this one was clean cut. It's a movie that anybody of any age can watch. The stories that are though up are a little extreme. They are not bad though. I couldn't imagine having to actually survive some of these situations. If you have low expectations of this movie I think you will get surprised. I thought that the jokes were original and used at the right times to get a snicker out of me. The guinea pig jokes were getting old by the end of the movie. There should have been just a few less of those. I think i had nightmares about those jokes. The movie made me think of how when I was young I had a wild imagination and it seemed as though my dreams were real. A must see for family night.

Sandler, who recently became a father for the first time, reportedly was keen to make a comedy that was family friendly.....this is not a role that suits the talented Pearce....Sandler is nicely contrasted by the lovely and feminine Keri Russell (notable in Waitress) who brings warmth and heart to the proceedings.....If you like Adam Sandler's loud.... ...
