I recommend Be Cool to anyone who wants to relax, enjoy some popcorn and watch a fun movie that you don't have to follow too closely. there are some good musical numbers in the film.....The big problem with this movie is the script.....it is much more dangerous, and exciting, than the movie business.....The problem is, Chili Palmer's weariness and his loathing of sequels leaks into the film itself and robs some of its carefree spirit.....the story is a mess this time around..... ... The reason that the 'sort of' keeps popping up is because the film gets so mired in its own cast of characters that ultimately it gets a little confusing and a little convoluted.
