I chuckled non-stop through this witty black comedy that roars with spark, freshness and wicked fun.....Harvey Keitel is a music executive with no scruples....while Vince Vaughn is side-splittingly superb as the lowlife wannaba Raji.....There is nothing like good writing....It's oh so cool, appetisingly black with a script that pops great lines as fast as you can pull a trigger..... ... The enormous success of the song introduced Christina Milian to the mainstream music world and gave her commercial success. With a starring role in an upcoming feature film and a highly anticipated album, Milian is poised to take the entertainment industry by storm. ... Full Review

She has signed a contract tying her to a dodgy manager who thinks he's a black guy (Vince Vaughn, who's funny for a while, then wears out his welcome) and his mobster partner (Harvey Keitel). Director F. Gary Gray lets everything amble along, like a comedy festival gala at which everyone is allowed to run over time and nobody can be bothered to bring down the curtain. ... Full Review

the film is enjoyable on a basic level....film, "Be Cool" lacks the originality, sparkle and sharpness of its forerunner....Be Cool" can be cool, but it can't be very good..... ... Full Review

I recommend Be Cool to anyone who wants to relax, enjoy some popcorn and watch a fun movie that you don't have to follow too closely. Fans of Get Shorty may be a little disappointed in the film's slapstick, but Travolta's performance captures the character's style that he established in the first film. ... Full Review

Funny movie, Great picture, sound and extras. I found his character annoying at first, but he became funnier and funnier as the movie progresses. All are good, but I especially enjoyed the ones on Andre 3000, The Rock and Cedric the Entertainer. ... Full Review

The failures of Be Cool wouldn't be so frustrating....This scene is just a mess....Cedric the Entertainer also does himself proud.....As the ineffectual bodyguard to Raji (Vaughn), the Rock's Elliot Wilhelm is a frustrated actor.....Travolta provides a still center around which folks like Vince Vaughn, Cedric the Entertainer, Harvey Keitel.... ... there are some good musical numbers in the film.....The big problem with this movie is the script.....it is much more dangerous, and exciting, than the movie business.....The problem is, Chili Palmer's weariness and his loathing of sequels leaks into the film itself and robs some of its carefree spirit.....the story is a mess this time around..... ... The reason that the 'sort of' keeps popping up is because the film gets so mired in its own cast of characters that ultimately it gets a little confusing and a little convoluted. It seems his good friend Tommy Athens (James Woods) was mowed down and his widow, the sultry Edie Athens (Uma Thurman) needs some help with the family business. ... Full Review
