collides joyously with the Hollywood musical.....Inventive and playful, brash, crass and funny beyond the predictable, Austin Powers In Goldmember is a blast of escapism....Cool cat Quincy Jones is there too, and when this musical maestro says 'groovy', there's no denying the tone is right..... ... Its the wackiest, most off-the-wall, nonsensical Austin movie yet possibly ever made.
Knowing he can never replicate the originals freshness, Myers plays on the comedy he created by breaking all the rules and going way over-the-top.

Treat yourself to a dose of the insane Austin is back!
The Austin Powers franchise is no longer a simple spoof blended with endearingly old fashioned comedy, its a whole new ball game, as it were.
Needless to say, Caine

I think this was a funny movie and deserves a better rating.
This movie is hilarious.
I think this was a fun movie and without the iffy language and sexual content it could have been ok for 8 year olds.

The film is in no way a repeat of the somewhat flat, gross, repetitive, and unfunny second movie and delivers a better steady stream of laughs than the original.
Plus, Beyonce is incredible in this movie.

Fortunately, Mike Myers can save a miss and milk a hit better than anyone.
Austin 'Danger' Powers (Mike Myers) has thwarted yet another plan by Dr. Evil (Mike Myers again) when he learns that his father, Nigel Powers (Michael Caine), has been kidnapped by a criminal mastermind named Goldmember (yep, Mike Myers).

Goldmember would be perfectly coherent even....In this role Myers plays out the choicest (in a manner of speaking) of his gross jokes on flatulence and nipples.....Goldmember has many funny moments, the best of whcih deal with Dr. Evil and Austin Powers as young kids in school.....Fred Savage ( The Wonder Years TV series) has a small but extremely amusing role..... ... These are revealed along the way, and the talented young actors (Josh Zuckerman and Aaron Himelstein) playing the youthful Dr. Evil and Austin Powers, are well cast physically, adding to the production value.
Michael Caine was the perfect choice to play Power's father, Nigel Powers, who is a spy himself, and full of some delicious secrets from Austin's past.
