Sin embargo, hay que decir que para aquellos que admiran su trabajo en El profesional o en El quinto elemento (con todo y su carga de ingenuidad y de humor simple), Arthur y los Minimoys se encuentra justo en el lado contrario.
El humor que Besson maneja en la cinta no es precisamente para adultos y esa honestidad es parte de la salvación de la pelÃcula.

Arthur and the Invisibles falls short of being a classic animated film....The movie does have its high points in the villainous silky styling of David Bowie and a fun set piece battle on a record player....For the US the Minimoys were changed to Invisibles and a good voice cast assembled.... ... and therefore it's a great movie to take the kids to
Written and directed by Frenchman Luc Besson, who's reputable for his visual effects but not so well known for his story lines (think The Fifth Element), this film takes the viewer on a visual escapade courtesy of CGI animation.
