That was certainly a great film, but I have an affinity for time-travel, and found this film to be as good, if not better. The makeup and horror was superb, but Bruce Campbell was just so funny in a land where he stood out like a sore thumb, I could not help but enjoy myself immensely. ... Full Review

The reason why this movie is so good is because it's refused to age. What I'm referring to is that the jokes are still funny, the site gags are even better (despite the fact that we're supposed to grow up with time and get over certain juvenile things) and Bruce Campbell could still ring my bell if he ever desired. ... The well-made Men Behind The Army effects featurette is quaint in the age of CGI, while deleted scenes, concept art and extensive storyboards mean Dead geeks can go to their graves happy.
