If there is anything that assures you that this will be a decent movie, it's the title - ANAMIKA. What Mahadevan could have finished telling off in one reel, he prolongs for 14 painful reels. ... Full Review

Fortunately it does not hamper the film in a major way.....The biggest let down of Anamika is its predictable end and complete disregard of the potential of the brilliant material at hand.....The screenplay plays at being smart and most of the time is quite intelligent....The editing, the third hero of a thriller, disappoints with inadvertent lags and unnecessary cuts dulling the edge..... ... Though there are many others too but Ananth N. Mahadevan seems to have this one pat except for a few glitches that dull the shine the film could have achieved. An intriguing plot, a sharp screenplay, tantalizingly balanced between revealing and hiding, and realistic exploration of emotions with just a touch of drama that shies off melodrama and pat, you have the formula ready. ... Dino Morea is tolerable, Koena Mitra's towers over Minissha....Like one minute, Dino is angry....are a rare Dino Morea fan, Anamika is your best bet.....Aarti Chhabria is not a good choice for someone so regal and classy.....As Dino loves leaving the palace and his new bride in fits of anger, Minissha is constantly compared to Anamika..... ...
