This movie is a disappointment.....Sadly, they're not in a better movie.....In fact, I think I pretty much nailed why I didn't like this movie at all with that last statement.....I digress, Redford and Freeman are very natural as friends in Montana....If you want to see a better movie about Morgan Freeman and another cranky grizzled old man, see Million Dollar Baby (which was made after this, but came out before, you might have heard of it)..... ... it's a solid, mature movie....If there's a problem with the film it's Jean, for whom the film desperately wants us to have sympathy....to see a quiet, thoughtful film like this is almost a relief.....the rest of the cast does amazing work in this thoughtful, picturesque piece of relationship drama.....achieving an amazing sort of chemistry together on camera..... ...
