The soundtrack for "American Wedding" is outstanding. This is a perfect example of why downloading is so popular. The things that hold the movie down are the lack of funny characters other than Stifler. ... Full Review

Amazingly, "American Wedding" has the feel of the first film, bringing back the fun and one last romp to see where all the characters have wound up. The result is a much more surprising and hilarious film because you genuinely don't know what's going to happen next, and when you do, it's crazier than you imagined. ... Full Review

Unfortunately, this new movie explores none of these potentially intriguing areas and instead expends its feeble energy on predictably 'shocking' gags. Hannigan and Biggs are back, and at first it's a pleasure just to see their faces -- to anyone who loved the first movie, these characters are like old friends, and the actors seem to be struggling to do the best they can with the material. Their friends Kevin (Thomas Ian Nicholas) and Finch (Eddie Kaye Thomas) are reasonably supportive, but everyone is trying to keep the whole affair a secret from Steve Stifler (Seann William Scott). ... This scene's seeming lack of purpose perversely makes it fit the rest of the film.....it's hard not to smile at Stifler's antics....it is also so rowdy and so ridiculous....so has to do with Steve Stifler, the breakout character played with oddly beguiling verve and nerve by Seann William Scott..... ...
