30 year old Matt Damon plays 16 year old John Grady Cole. Right off the bat COME ON! I know hollywood uses older actors, like 18 or 19, to play 16 year olds, but 30? They miss 90% of the book.... Full review

Directed by Billy Bob Thornton, "All the Pretty Horses" is an elegiac, visually hypnotic film about love, honor, reverence for nature and the loss of tradition. It's a visual feast, though, and a chance to see Damon, an actor whose talents are frequently obscured by his looks and his celebrity, at his best. ... Full Review
