I don't understand why people are giving this movie A's. The story was terrible. She has been trying to destroy the creatures for the past 3 movies and now she's being light hearted. The acting was even worse than the third.... Full review

I think Alien and Aliens is way better than this. Alien 3 and this 4th one were terrible. In Alien Resurrection, there's a religious android, named Call who I didn't really like. I think Lance Henriksen who played Bishop and there... Full review

I'll be quick. This movie is deserving to be in the series, but couldn't they come up with a better setting? Finally, after three movies, we finally see these things slow down. Not controlled, but not running ramped either. And what... Full review

One of the major problems with ALIEN RESURRECTION is that it has the great visuals(the aliens have never looked more menacing), it goes back to the set pieces of it's predecessors which is a brooding, claustrophoibic and almost recognizable look for... Full review

Alien Resurrection does not feel like an alien film, it has those traditional elements which are shared with its three predecessors, but it just doesn't feel like a part of the series. Sigourney Weaver returns for the final time (for now... Full review

After the fiasco that was Alien3, this movie somewhat redeems itself with a half-way decent story line. Sigourney Weaver looks tougher and meaner in her aged, hybrid, cloned character. The tuff guy mercenaries add a bit of spice to this movie.... Full review

Alien Resurrection has some fun moments, and visually, it's exciting to watch, but it's a matter of been there, done that - and far better.
While a considerable improvement on its predecessor, Alien Resurrection remains a glorified chase movie with a few one liners to give it an extra bit of punch.

Of course, Alien: Resurrection is nowhere near as sophisticated and profound as Romero's classic, but it's still every bit as fun.
If the film doesn't bullshit around, the same can't be said about Winona Ryder.

Times are hard for dreamers," someone says in director Jean-Pierre Jeunet's ( Alien Resurrection ) almost unbearably wonderful new film.
