Aap Ka Surroor - The Moviee

Horrible and only because of Himesh Reshmiya- he is such a stone faced guy - can't act. Like they say- jack of all master of none- sings like a jackal- acts like a donkey. Please don't watch it- had they casted someone else instead of him this movie could have done well. Unless you want a headache please don't see it.

Aap ka suroor Amazing movie! Beat your own drum kinds! Its actually a music video. Thus no movie review as such. Few dialogues from an absolutely expressionless face of the era – HR – are as follows : Give me the gun I said – you are drunk Officer ! (HR to a Police Officer in Germany!) IT’S A MISTAKE !! (When the polizia of Germanezia take revenge …for calling them drunk on duty…or what!?) Nadia, an equally expressionless daughter of Raj Babbar (the Director could not take any one with expressions otherwise there would have been an identity crisis on ‘Who is the Lead Actor?’ thus Nadia, a golden haired, fair skinned – basically Indian Raj Babbar’s sheer stoke of groovy luck – for being able to rope in a German Murgi – in his youth …. after all… and copulating with her – thus giving birth to a baby girl – who later becomes a Reporter – an adventurous reporter on top of that !!…and dies while trying to expose someone – something – involved in a process called String Operation. HR’s too much fame was getting on some Khorana’s nerve so he framed him and wore his mask and the camera that was between her( Nadia’s) breastikins …(Okay break over) – revealed it all! Later we all come to know that Khorana was wearing HR’s mask and killed Nadia !! I honestly want to meet these mask makers ….this way many ugly looking Indian males and females will live happily ever after – they can wear the mask of their favorite actor/actress and actually materialize their dreams of….you know what.. To stretch the movie some girls are hired to dance semi nude in this movie. The girls in this movie do not believe in covering their breastikins much …(take a short break – okay break over) and rather they jiggle it all the more the moment they see men/boys around !! Probably the reason why this movie is at all talked about ! One of my colleagues – some 10 years younger to me – found this movie to be too thrilling and full of suspense !! I was amazed but then I realized that being born in the 80’s means brought up among the movies /ideas /concepts of the 90’s – thus its no fault of his to find this extremely mediocre movie to be thrilling !! I remember having watched ‘Khamosh’ – starring Shabana Azmi and Naseeruddin,Amol Palekar..and many more good actors – it was a suspense thriller and till the end we could not make out who the murderer was !! I had found it too great a movie – during those days I guess Directors made the movies through their brains unlike nowadays where most movies are busy showing a new ‘female body’ (bold girls born to either greedy or debauch parents) from all angles !! While watching this movie, during interval time, my father commented that Amol Palekar would be the murderer !We all disagreed so he said – okay fine watch the movie. And it turned out that Amol was the murderer! When I asked my father how could he guess – he said pure logic – how else would you justify the presence of the Ace Actor Amol? – (deep sigh) yeah ! Men are so logical but then that’s what one should be like I guess ! Anyway – back to AKS – the catch phrase of the movie is ‘the real love story’ – I failed to find any reality …I mean there is this girl whose father has prepared and made all arrangements for getting her married. The new comer girl – pretty dumb looking – but breasts and buttocks were full and firm – so the Director took the risk of launching an expressionless dumb looking girl ! So this girl says to her father that she is in love with HR (hang on – lil bit on this – HR had saved her from a petty thief who was strangulating her – as she was about to scream out his presence…so you see he saved her life – love was inevitable – Indian women have this survival factor very strongly working in their brains – whoever saves their life – they will tie the knot with them – kinda animal instinct – if you have noticed – among street dogs also – one needn’t go to Ghana (Africa) with the Discovery channel team to see the selection of mates – the bitch in heat watches the dogs fight – and the one who wins…she lets him in – selecting stronger mate…for better stronger pups !) . But the father says to his daughter that he cannot let her marry a murderer – and such a foolish murderer on top – who leaves a video film between the breastikins of the victim ! HR challenges that he will prove them all of his innocence in 24 hours – mind you – a foreign land and Indian HR is so confident of breaking the prison cell and running in the streets to prove his innocence – ie finding the actual murderer ! Well – HR faces Khorana and Khorana confesses that he was the murderer and guess what ?– HR – being a celebrity – had hired the services of a local cabel channel who had been relaying his confession LIVE on TV!!….Celebrity zindabaad !! And while the heroine’s father was busy entertaining guests who had come to attend his daughter’s wedding – he was also keeping an eye on the TV !! HE sees the honest confession of Khorana . By that time the Heroine had already reached the mandap (dais) with tear filled eyes and was about to get married to a ‘complete bloke’ – who knew all about her affair with the celebrity but still wanted to ‘hump’ her for the rest of his life !! Suddenly the father interferes and says that his daughter will marry the Indian celebrity after all – the ‘complete bloke’ groom moves aside. HR and ‘dumb bimbo’ hug. Real love found ? Movie ends here.

Guns do go off in this musical thriller where the music often provides the thrills....Mallika doubling up as a femme fatale and a lawyer provides all the unintentional laughter..... ... Full Review

Bouquets, because the musical score of Aap Kaa Surroor is tremendous. Besides, the film bears a stylish and glossy look and the viewer is enamored by the stunning locales of Germany as also the melodious musical score that has been filmed on some striking locations. ... Full Review

So with all these thoughts and questions in mind, you curiously enter the cinema hall to watch Aap Ka Surroor - The Moviee, which marks the silver screen acting debut of singer and extremely talented music composer Himesh Reshammiya. To sum things up, Aap Ka Surroor is a disappointing movie. ... Full Review

The movie fails to answer this question as promised.....The films music though is excellent.....The screenplay is bad.....Also, with too many songs in it, the movie appears more like a musical album with the actual story scrambled irrationally..... ... Full Review
